Akuros VNA racking system is a high-density pallet storage solution built for very narrow aisle warehouse operation. It is designed to reduce aisle width, increase pallet positions, and make better use of warehouse height while still allowing direct access to each pallet.
Unlike double deep, drive-in, or shuttle racking systems, VNA racking does not sacrifice pallet selectivity. Each pallet can be accessed independently, which makes it suitable for warehouses with many SKUs, different batches, frequent stock changes, and high inventory visibility requirements.
The system usually works with very narrow aisle forklifts, articulated forklifts, or man-up turret trucks. Depending on the warehouse design, VNA systems can use mechanical rail guidance, wire guidance, magnetic guidance, or free-ranging operation with suitable trucks.
